Confluence University of Science and Technology is a state-owned university that is located in the confluence of Kogi State. That is why the university is named after the slogan of the state. The institution is located on Okene Lokoja Express Road, Osara, Kogi State.
Confluence University of Science and Technology was established in 2020 as a result of the requirement of an additional higher learning institution in Kogi State. The university was established based on the bill that was passed in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The same year the institution was established, the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, assented to the establishment of the university, and in that same year, the National Universities Commission (NUC) accredits the university, with the leadership also inaugurated.
Since the establishment of the university, the institution has enjoyed massive transformation and growth from the growth of faculties and also accrediting additional courses.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
• Open your web browser and visit the official website of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara (CUSTECH).

Step 7: Verify Your JAMB Requirements
Before making payment, carefully check:
• JAMB Subjects – Ensure the subjects registered in your JAMB profile match the requirements for your chosen program.
• JAMB Score – Confirm that your score meets or exceeds the minimum cut-off mark for your program.
• UTME Core Subject Requirements – Confirm that you have the required UTME core subjects.
• Optional Subject Requirements—Check whether your program requires an optional subject and ensure that you qualify.
• O’Level Requirements – Ensure your O’Level results contain the required grades and subject combinations for your chosen program.
Step 8: Change Program if You Do Not Meet the Requirements
• If you do not meet the requirements for your chosen program, browse the available programs and select a suitable alternative.
• For a Change of Course (COC), an additional ₦2,000 fee applies.
Step 9: Pay the Screening Fee

• UTME/DE Screening Fee – ₦2,000 for all candidates.
• Change of Programme (COP) Fee – ₦2,000 for candidates changing programs.
Step 10: Make Payment
• Click the Payment link on the left side of the portal dashboard.
• Click “Pay Now” to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
• Note down the RRR number, close the dialogue, and continue.
• Click the “REQUEST / Pay Now” button to launch the Remita Payment Gateway.
Step 11: Complete the Application
• After payment, the portal will automatically verify whether you meet the admission requirements for your chosen program.
• If you are eligible, you can proceed with the application.
• If you are not eligible, you must change to a suitable program before continuing.
Step 12: Upload Required Documents
• Scan and save all required documents.
• Click “Upload Documents.”
• Select the appropriate document title/category.
• Choose the file from your device.
• Click the blue “Upload” button and wait for confirmation that the upload is complete.
• Repeat the process for all required documents.
