Tips for Fresheres and Newly Admitted to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA)

As a former student of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko (AAUA), the journey of 4 years was a tedious and also a beautiful journey, and it was because of experience and people I was able to meet, and sometimes I look back, and I would have taken some decisions then, and that is what I will be sharing with you for a journey you will enjoy most, especially for the benefit of having a good CGPA.

1. Build your CGPA during your 100 and 200 level days because the higher you go, the tougher it becomes to attain the kind of success you attain during your 100 and 200 times, and also the financial burden and other stress will be low compared to when you are in 300 and 400 level.

2. Join a campus fellowship. I won’t underemphasize this, as Campus Fellowship will help you a lot by providing easy access to relationships with other students that you’ve been together with as course mates and also helps build your spiritual life.

3. As a fresher, don’t spend recklessly; make sure you only spend on what is necessary and do well to cool your own food for the sake of conserving your money. If you fail to adhere, time will tell of this.

4. Be spiritually minded and always do well to attend church because of the nature of the environment you are staying in; it is not to scare you but the truth.

5. Do your best to live around a student-dominated area so as to boost your chance in case of security challenges because of students’ indigenous clash; it does not happen. Always, but you will definitely experience this during your period of stay in the institution.

6. Make as many Godly friends as you can accommodate and always Enjoy every moment because you will miss this when you are done with your study.
