Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic: Courses, Cut-Off Mark & School Fees 2026/2027

Located in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, Abraham Adeanya Polytechnic is a state-owned polytechnic that is funded and under the administration of the Ogun State Government.

Abraham Adejesanya Polytechnic is an institution with decades of existence. Even though it was officially and formally established in 2005, the polytechnic initially was established in 1979 by the then Governor of Ogun, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, due to the pressure of the community, who demanded that they have their own higher institution.

After the establishment of the Polytechnic in 1979, the Polytechnic did not last for long, as the Polytechnic’s existence and establishment were terminated in 1983 following the takeover of military government under the administration of the then military governor of Ogun State, Colonel Oladapo Diya.

Years after the law re-establishing the Polytechnic was enacted by the Ogun State House of Assembly, the bill was passed in 2025, establishing the Polytechnic as The Polytechnic, IJEBU-IGBO, before it was changed to Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic to honor the former senator of Ogun State who hailed from the community where the Polytechnic was situated.

The Polytechnic is known for its strong accreditation status, having secured full accreditation from NBTE in 2025 for most of the courses offered in the institution.
